The blue town folded into the Rif, two and a half hours down the road.
Chefchaouen is one of Morocco’s most photographed towns: a maze of blue-washed lanes and stairways tucked under the peaks of the Rif. We leave Tangier in the morning, cross the countryside and climb into the mountains, with photo stops along the way.
In town, your driver gives you an orientation and lunch tips, then you’re free to explore — the Kasbah, Outa el Hammam square, the Ras el Ma spring and the Spanish mosque viewpoint. Choose the shared tour to travel with other guests, or a private van for your group alone.
