The lighthouse where two seas meet, twenty minutes from town.
Drive west along the cliffs, through the pine forest of Rmilat and the hills of the Diplomatic Forest, to the north-western tip of Africa. At Cap Spartel, the Mediterranean and the Atlantic meet beneath a white lighthouse built in 1864.
A few minutes further, the Caves of Hercules open onto the ocean through a famous opening shaped like the map of Africa. Finish with a coffee facing the Atlantic above Achakkar beach before heading back to town.
